This
totally renovated apartment has been tastefully decorated in a fun and
modern Mediterranean style. Bright colours prevail in the small details
of this space: lamps, pillows, curtains make this place special. Bright
sun bathes the apartment in natural light streaming in from the
balconied windows.
There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a large double bed
and 1 more with 2 single beds. The living/dining room has a sofa bed
which sleeps 2, a table and chairs, TV, DVD and sound system. From the
computer desk, take advantage of the free high speed ADSL WiFi internet
connection. The small kitchen includes a washing machine, fridge,
electric stove top, microwave and a full set of dishware. The bathroom
comes with shower. Heat and air conditioning.

de Spain 2 apartment, an excellent choice for bigger groups of both
family, friends or businesses.
The area Surrounding the Apartment
Where
the Gran Vía ends Plaza España begins. Surrounded by many of the
buildings that until not so long showed off for being the higher ones
of the city. Those skyscrapers share the scene together with historical
and traditional monuments in Madrid such as the sculptures honouring
Cervantes that represent his classical characters of Don Quijote and
Sancho Panza in the beautiful Plaza´s gardens.
A five minutes
walk through the Gran Vía is enough to reach the most centric point of
the city from which you get to Puerta del Sol and the emblematic Plaza
Mayor. An apartment located in the ideal place for not to even needing
to get into the Metro. Museums, cinemas, theatres, touristic sites and
the neighbourhoods with most cultural and night life –such as La
Latina, Chueca and Malasaña- not more than ten minutes away. Very central, next to both metros Plaza de España and Santo Domingo (100m).
The
apartment is near all Madrid monuments and tourist places. Only 3
minutes walk to Gran Vía and Plaza España and 5 minutes to the Royal
Palace and the Puerta del Sol, the epicentre of Madrid. Further along
is the lovely Los Austrias neighbourhood with fantastic tapas bars in
unexpected corners. Closer to home there are loads of restaurants, bars
and pastry shops all with their specialties worth sampling. Also close
to the apartment is the Opera, and just beyond the enormous Royal
Palace and its surrounding park.
