The area Surrounding the Apartment
The apartment is located just a few meters away from the famous Plaza de España, where Madrid’s “Broadway” starts: Gran Vía Ave, a Cosmopolitan standpoint where the latest tendencies mingle with the city’s most authentic flavour.
A short walk away we will come to the majestic and stately Royal Palace, and the no less impressive Sabatini Gardens, the perfect spot for a wonderful stroll. In this same area, the Royal Theatre welcomes the most central district of town. Here you can enjoy the Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol and all the million charming little streets that define Madrid’s traditional flavour and character.
You are surrounded by greenspaces here, with the Parque del Oeste and the Parque de la Montaña, which offers views of the palace as well as the Egyptian Templo de Debod.
Being near the university area, this area has plenty of shops and conveniences, along with the Corte Inglés department store, or catch one of several metro lines located in the area.
Cultural spots such as the Prado museum and the Reina Sofia gallery can be easily reached by metro in about 15 minutes.
