THE APARTMENT
This recently renovated aparmtent is a great choice for your visit to Madrid. Renovated and decorated with great taste, the Salamanca-Hermosilla apartment comes with all the little extras to ensure the guest has a relaxing and hassle free stay. The most important feature, we believe, is the peace and tranquility afforded to the guest once inside the building which is an abosolute must to ensure a relaxing time in a busy city such as Madrid...
The space in this 60m2 apartment has been maximised to it's full potential. Divided amongs the double bedroom, one bathroom, the living/dining area and the kitchen the result is a modern, light filled, extremely charming apartment in a great neighbourhood...
The main bedroom is quite and comfortable and comes with a queen size double bed; the guest will find a large built in wardrobe for all belongings... tastefully decorated in a simple and elegant tone, this really is a pleasant room...
The bathroom is not ensuite, but along the corridor, and is also a very good size and comes with a bath/shower unit, toilet, sink, etc ... fresh towels are ready for use upon arrival...
As mentioned this apartment has plenty of natural light, specially the living room and lends a sunny and warm feeling throughout the apartment...
The living/dining room is a great place to sit back and relax listening music or watching a film through its Home Cinema or conecting with friends by it Internet Wireless Connection, after a day of sightseeing or before heading out to discover what this great city has to offer enterntainment wise at nighttime.... there is something for everyone!!!
THE AREA
Very easy to get to any area of the city by bus, subway or just walking as it is right in the centre, near the Prado Museum, Pûerta de Alcala or Plaza Cibeles. Everything is close to the apartment, the famous department store "El Corte Ingles", and lots of restaurants, shops and "tapas" bars all within a 5 min walk.
One of the best advantages of The Salamanca Hermosilla Apartment is that it only takes a few minutes to get to the Retiro Park. With an enormous pondn constructed in 1631 by spanish Royalty, the visitor can ride in small boats, have an "apaeritivo" or listen to the musicians playing live music. Like Central Park in New York or High park in London,in the Retiro park we can play any sport, have nice walks or just read a book by a tree. An authentic natural area in the centre of Madrid, an increadible luxury!!.
