This charming apartment in central Madrid is a great choice for any visitor who wants to explore and discover everything this great city has to offer.
The Reina Sofia 4 apartment is located in an historical building which has preserved all of the old characteristics and make you feel calm and quiet because its thick walls with no noise from the street.
This charming 50m2 apartment allows the guest to be more than comfortable while staying here. The sleeping area has been made to one side of the apartment, with a comfortable double bed which is over a platform, which allows privacy and independency if there are other people sleeping in the sofa bed of the living room. The living room and the fully kitchen share a spacious space.
The lounging area is equally pleasant in style, giving a definite feel of calm and tranquillity... the guest can sit back and enjoy the use of TV, DVD or just to enjoy a glass of wine before heading off to explore all this great city has to offer...

Useful transport information; the nearest bus to the apartment leaves you on Calle Calle Atocha and the nearest metro station is Atocha and from there it is a 2 min walk.
The area
This appealing apartment is located in an area known as "Atocha". Atocha includes a rather large area which extends from the Atocha railways station up to the Huertas or Barrio de las Letras. The Reina Sofía museum is only 100 mts from the apartment and also the Atocha Railway station is very close. The area contains a number of art galleries, museums Prado and Thyssen, and restaurants serving traditional food. The apartment is also very near to the Retiro Park and Botanical Gardens, Prado and Thyssen Museums and Plaza de la Cibeles and it is well known for the splendid and exclusive houses it has.
Calle Huertas, only a 5 minutes walk from the apartment Reina Sofia 4, gives it's name to an old traditional neighbourhood with numerous bars and other little establishments serving tapas in the evenings. Plaza de Santa Ana is the heart of the Huertas neighborhood. The streets radiating off its core, Plaza de Santa Ana, are packed with tapas bars and disco-pubs, popular as much among Spaniards as with an international crowd.
This area is one of the most interesting areas in Madrid; and the Apartment Reina Sofia 4 allows a quiet existence although it is in the heart of Madrid. Actually it is a great area to stay in while visiting Madrid. |
