If you want to relax before going out to sample Madrid’s entertainment you can sit down in the comfy sofa and play a CD or a DVD in the equipment provided. The apartment is also fitted with heating. The area is quiet but full of restaurants, tapas bars, theatres, shops, museums and cinemas and is well connected with the rest of the city with 2 different metro lines, La Latina and Tirso de Molina metro stations (line 5 and 1), are very close from the apartment. Some of the most important tourist and cultural spots in the city are within walking distance to the apartment such as the Palacio Real, Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol and the excellent Prado and Reina Sofía museums. On Sundays the famous street market "El Rastro" is on the same door. |
